Roster of servicemen and officers, 1874-1920.

This record group consists of various records and rosters relating to the Michigan militia. The record group includes: roster of commissioned officers in Michigan State Troops (1874-85); roster of commissioned officers (1905-20); roster of non-commissioned officers (1899-1916); roster of Michigan Naval Brigade (1894-1912); roster of Michigan volunteers (1898-99); muster-out rolls of Michigan volunteers in the Spanish-American War (1898); certificates of service issued from Adjutant General's office (1898-1907); and records relating to 31st, 32nd, 33rd, 34th, 35th Infantry, Navy, and 30th United States Infantry (1898-1906), consisting of descriptive and assignment cards, letters, rosters, affidavits of officers, reports of deaths and discharge, oaths, consents for minors, a monthly return from a chaplain, and a roster of the 30th U.S. Infantry in 1900.
